Raw Wood Mulch
RAW WOOD MULCH is just exactly that…..raw wood mulch. It is simply ground up two-by-fours from the local truss plant. While we do not recommend using this product in garden beds or anyplace where soil fertility is an issue, it is the perfect product for walkways, driveways, or any other place where a simple, effective ground cover is needed to prevent the ground from turning into a mud bog! It also makes a wonderful stable bedding for livestock! We must emphasize that our RAW WOOD MULCH has not been through any type of sterilization process so there are no guarantees regarding weed seed or any other pest or pathogenic organisms.
USAGE: Basic raw wood mulch suitable for walkways, driveways, and stable bedding.
APPLICATION RATE: Usually a 3" top dressing is sufficient.
COVERAGE: 1 cubic yard of RAW WOOD MULCH will cover 325 square feet at a 1" application rate OR 216 square feet at a 2" application rate OR 108 square feet at a 3" application rate.
