2nd Annual Seed Swap
February 12th, 2011
11am – 1pm at Full Circle Compost
Did You Have a Great Growing Season in 2010? Did You Save Your Seeds?
Full Circle Compost had a great Tomato & Pepper growing season and canned an abundance of Tomato Sauce & Salsa! We also saved seeds for 2011 planting.
At this years "Seed Swap" we will be covering:
- Which seeds gave you the best yield.
- Demonstration of seed starting.
- Why choosing the proper blend of potting mix is so important, for great success for your seed starts and the health of your plants.
- Saving Seeds and multiple uses of seeds, like edible squash seeds.
We have found from experience from last year’s seed exchange, it was much easier if you bring your seeds pre-package and labeled. If you have bulk seed, please put in large zip lock and clearly labeled.
Please follow directions below:
- Use small or medium envelope or small zipbags.
- Quantity for small seeds like carrots lettuce spinach .... a pinch or two per envelope.
- Quantity for medium to large seeds 5 to 7 depending on your generosity.
- All envelopes properly labeled with type of seed and description.
- If you would like to participate in our Seed Swap and have no seeds, we are asking for a $5.00 donation to participate.
(SAVE 10% on FCC Potting Mix for your seed starts!)
We will have WALL O' WATERS available for purchase. HMO will have pots and seeds for sale as well.

The "Buzz" Tomato
for the year was the "Chocolate Stripes" and
best tasting was the "Amish Gold" seen at left, and we will
have the seeds available at our "Seed Swap".
This is one of the only ways to get proven Nevada Garden tested and grown seed that speak NEVADA!
